News on Catford Town Centre

The festive edition of Catford Food Market will take place on Sunday (24 November) from 10am-4pm. Once again, the market will be in its new home inside Catford shopping centre.

The food market will be the biggest to date, with everything from sumptuous vegan fayre from Osu Coconut, to flame-grilled chicken from Jerk Off BBQ and super-soft, fluffy naan bread from Raastawala.

Alongside the array of local food and drink traders, you’ll have the chance to speak to Team Catford about progress towards the masterplan framework, which is due to be finalised Spring 2020, as well as to get a first look at the brand new edition of our community newsletter, Catford Conversations.

Team Catford has had a bumper 2019, holding thousands of conversations across dozens of events with those of you who live, work, shop or run a business in Catford. We want to establish what really matters to you and what you want for Catford in the future.

Representatives from Back the Bakerloo will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the ongoing TfL consultation regarding the Bakerloo Line Extension, which could see Catford connected to the tube network by 2029.

You’ll also be able to pick up Catford goodies – just in time for Christmas – from Catford Cornucopia.
