Catford is Young and Vocal

February saw Team Catford host Young and Vocal, Catford’s first ever night dedicated to celebrating and encouraging Catford’s next generation of creative minds. Attended by over 100 keen creatives from across South London, the evening took place in a vacant unit in Catford Shopping Centre and gave guests the opportunity to enjoy exciting live performances, admire striking artwork and rub shoulders with like-minded individuals. Take a look at our video to see how the evening unfolded and watch this space for more exciting events from Team Catford.

Save the date! Catford Beer Festival 8-10th June

Prepare to enjoy ice cold beer, delicious street food and exciting live music as Catford Beer Festival returns to the neighbourhood in June. Taking place at the Catford Bridge Tavern just days before the World Cup, the festival will feature 40 different types of beer including the specially brewed Catford Pride Pale Ale. To stay updated on the festival and make sure you don’t miss a thing, follow @CatfordBeerFest on Twitter.

Tastebuds ready? Catford Food Market is coming

We’re just a few short weeks away from welcoming the eagerly awaited Catford Food Market. Taking place on Catford Broadway from 10am-4pm on Sunday 25th March and on the last Sunday of each month, the market offers a chance to sample some South East’s London’s most exciting food entrepreneurs.

Enjoy treats and flavours from across the globe with a line up featuring delicious Indian street food from Raastawala, tempting Caribbean dishes from Jerk Off and Japanese fayre from Fuse.

There will also be artisan producers offering a selection of bread, cakes, cheese, jams and chutney.

Team Catford will be there as well to listen to your views and aspirations for the area.
