News on Catford Town Centre

Catford Mews – your new community hub, complete with three-screen cinema, street food, café, bar and live music room – opens its doors today. All summer, Catfordians have been abuzz at the prospect of the first multi-screen cinema to open in Lewisham in a generation opening right on their doorstep.

As many of you will remember, Catford Mews was previously an indoor market and this vast space has now been repurposed as a multi-purpose, open plan community space.

Catford Cornucopia – Team Catford’s specialist engagement space and shop – is also opening in Catford Mews, just in time for you to get toasty Catford hoodies and festive treats.

As plans develop on the masterplan framework that will set the pathway for the regeneration of Catford town centre over the coming decades, a programme of meanwhile use projects will see tenants occupy vacant units to deliver a variety of exciting new initiatives to help revitalise the town centre.

Alongside Catford Mews, the town centre has already seen Yoga House and our very own Catford Cornucopia launch in the town centre and contribute to a fresh and diverse high street.
