News on Catford Town Centre

August Bank Holiday is set to be a scorcher, and once again, Catford Food Market will be returning to Catford Broadway showcasing the very best in local food vendors. With kids activities and live music alongside an urban picnic area coming along and soak up the sun. Catford Food Market is organised by Team Catford and focuses on supporting local traders. All of our traders are based south of the river, with 60% from the borough and 35% from Catford itself.

There is plenty for vegans including Scandinavian open sandwiches from  Daun’s Deli  and vegan cake from  MissFlits Bakes Vegan, endorsed by one of the UK’s best-known vegans Romesh Ranganathan. For the meat lovers there’s Argentinian steak burgers from Toropampa and the best jerk chicken in south London from Jerk Off BBQ. Catford Cornucopia will also be popping up, selling their exclusive range of Catford t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, tea and awarding winning sodas - all must-have merchandise for every Catfordian.

Alongside our talented traders, Team Catford will be in attendance continuing engagement around the masterplan framework for Catford Town Centre. This is a great chance to see the latest ideas and share your views to help shape the future of Catford.
