News on Catford Town Centre

We’re delighted to announce that we have been named Best Community Engagement in the Planning Process at London First’s Building London Planning Awards 2020.

Since 2017, we’ve held thousands of conversations with local people, gathering over 2,500 views and ideas which are shaping the emerging framework plan, a blueprint to guide development over the next 10-15 years.

We were commended for our creative approach to community engagement and the use of the digital platform Commonplace , which is used as a hub for all the feedback we receive.

Whether you’ve come along to one of our pop-up events, a local assembly, the monthly Catford Food Market, shared or commented on Commonplace, visited Catford Cornucopia or proudly worn a Catford-emblazoned sweater, we want to say a huge thank you!

But this is just the beginning. We’re going to continue the #CatfordCornversation and you’ll still have lots of opportunities over the coming weeks and months to have your say and shape the future of Catford.
