Your priorities for Catford’s framework plan

We’ve created a summary of all the feedback that we’ve received since we shared the first draft of the framework plan in May 2019.

The summary highlights your priorities, based on hundreds of comments left on Commonplace and conversations with members of Team Catford.

When we asked about public spaces, it was greenery, pedestrianisation and open spaces that were your priorities.

For civic buildings, the key issues were around sustainability and building designs.

For new homes, lots of people mentioned the relationship between existing buildings and future ones, whilst the affordability of new homes was also a key priority.

In the town centre, you wanted to see an improved food and drink offer, with a diverse retail character and a strong emphasis on independence.

Do you agree with these priorities? You can view the full summary of the feedback so far or you can have your say and learn more about the framework plan by visiting catfordframework.commonplace.is.

Team Catford will also be present this Sunday (26th), 10 am-4 pm in Catford shopping centre for the first Catford Food Market of the decade, so come and say hello and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has been in touch to report the blocked gully that has led to the pavement flooding by Catford Bridge station in heavy rain. We can confirm that this problem has now be rectified.
